Nas Hitting The Road In Support Of 'Life Is Good'

Queens, New York veteran rapper Nas is hitting the road in support of his upcoming album, Life Is Good.

Nas will embark on a 17-date tour, that will take him to countries like United Kingdom, Belgium and Germany.

The tour will kick off in the United States in Detroit on June 9 and will wind down on September 2, at the PNC Bank Arts Center.

DMX Pays Off $250,000 Mortgage To Prevent Foreclosure

According to court documents published by The Jasmine Brand, DMX has paid off the mortgage for a house in Westchester County, NY where his ex-wife Tashera Simmons and their four children live. Mortgage payments on the house went unpaid for just under four years before DMX reportedly paid the remaining sum of $258,927.87.

DMX initially purchased the Mount Kisco, NY property in 2000 for $649,000 before multiple stints in jail early in the decade. The rapper and his wife Tashera Simmons filed for divorce in 2012 after 14 years of marriage.

Ja Rule Details Unreleased Group Tracks With Jay Z & DMX

After performing a set at Def Jam’s 30th Anniversary Concert in Brooklyn last week, Ja Rule spoke with MTV about his career and collaborations with Jay Z and DMX. Recalling early plans to record a group album under the Murder Inc. group moniker, Ja Rule admitted that there is likely unreleased material from that recording period.

“We tried to deliver that album,” he said of working alongside Jay Z and DMX. “It was a situation where egos all just played a part in its demise. We couldn’t get X and Jay in the same room, from long ago, their storied battle on the pool table, guns out and all of that.
