Pitbull Pens 'Men in Black 3' Theme Song

Pitbull has landed the theme song for this summer’s sure to be box-office hit Men in Black 3, which lands in theaters May 25th.

“It’s an incredible honor to be a part of such an amazing franchise as Men in Black and I have so much respect for Will Smith, especially with our similar musical backgrounds,” Pitbull said.

“Wanting to keep the music fun yet modern, we used the slogan of the movie and flipped it back into the song that ‘in order to understand the future, you have to go back in time,” he continued.

Pitbull wrote “Back in Time” for the film with Marc Kinchen, Adrian Trejo and Urales Vargas.

The track features a sample of the 1950s song ‘Love Is Strange’ by Mickey and Sylvia.

“Back in Time” plays off of the movie’s theme, as Will Smith must go into the past in the latest M.I.B installment.

The song is set to hit radio stations nationwide March 26 and will be released in the UK on May 6.

Common Joins 'Suicide Squad' Film Cast

Common's acting resume continues to grow longer and longer. The Chitown spitter has been added to the DC Comics flick Suicide Squad, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

He'll be joining an already all-star cast that includes Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker and Morgot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Ben Affleck will reportedly make a cameo as Batman as well. The “Glory” rapper’s role has yet to be announced.

Dr. Dre Wins Lawsuit Against Death Row Records Over 'The Chronic'

Dr. Dre has been battling Death Row Records over the past year over unpaid funds from the online sales of The Chronic and he has come out victorious.

According to Billboard, U.S. District Judge Christina Snyder ruled that Dr. Dre is entitled to be paid more royalities from the digital sales of his 1992 debut album than what he has been getting. The album can still be sold digitally, but Dre will now receive 100 percent of the monies from digital sales.
